Biography

Mr. Jackson has been practicing in the specialized area of property law since 1982.  Although, not an Atlanta native, he has been granted the title of honorary native since residing in the small town of Atlanta Georgia since 1979.  Through the closings of over 300,000 transactions by either himself personally or through his associates, Dale has watched this small town grow up to become an Olympic city, a world jetport, and one of the best places to live in the United States.

Mr. Jackson attended the University of Missouri for his undergraduate studies, where before heading south to Emory University he received his mathematics degree.  At Emory, Mr. Jackson developed a strong interest in property and contracts law and concentrated in those areas prior to sitting for the Bar.

Mr. Jackson's first position after graduating was with one of the area's fastest growing real estate law firms.  Upon completing his associateship, Mr. Jackson went on to hang out his shingle and form one of the largest real estate firms in Georgia. After selling his interest in the firm to his partners, Dale took a sabbatical to his horse farm outside of Atlanta for a few years before returning back to full time practice in 2005; forming the Windward Law Group.

During his career, Mr. Jackson has been responsible for the training of many of the areas real estate professionals and staff members.  Additionally, his accomplishments include bringing the "Buyer's Agency" concept to Georgia, as well as the recent drafting of State legislation that has gone into law affecting how documents are recorded in Georgia.
